In the newest installment of exciting Roofnest press, Chris Cordes of Expedition Portal recently reviewed our newest aluminum hard shell clamshell tent, the Roofnest Falcon.

In going from his previous hulking canvas roof top tent with a wooden door to the sleek, durable and lightweight Falcon, Cordes experienced a coming-to-god moment (our words) about how far roof top tent technology has come over the last decade.

From the incredibly thin design (sitting at only 7″ tall when closed and mounted on top of your car) to the thick, comfy mattress and optimized design that wastes no space, Cordes has lots of nice things to say about the Falcon. For bike-loving gear junkies just like us, Roofnest Falcon features an optional set of crossbars that can be added to carry bikes, kayaks, skis, and more. The tent also has a ruggedized surface and has two accessory channels on all four sides for mounting light bars, fairings, awnings, whatever. Learn more about the Roofnest Falcon roof top tent »
